Holme Valley South councillor Ken Sims speaking now. The pro-Tesco campaign will be sunk without his vote.
Clr Sims building up slowly but he's starting to make some anti-development noises.

Clr Sims claims "silent majority" in Holmfirth oppose the Tesco plan. In a delicious irony, some of the pro-development people shout out that he's wrong.
7-1 against Tesco. In pool terms, the retail giant is behind the 8 ball.
Clr Sims says the site would be better used for light industry.
